Expectations held by others of you—or by you of yourself—or of you toward another—are nothing but tiny handcuffs attempting to hold a giant in place. Decorative at best. But if the giant thinks for a moment that the tiny handcuffs have any power or control over them, then… it does.

Even in fertile soil, a bud may choose not to bloom.

Not out of lack, but of intention.

Its roots may be capped by design—to observe rather than be seen,

to glimpse rather than fully experience.

And still, its closed form is sacred, perfect, and whole.

The single bud in a vase meant for it alone.

The loner or the leader—each has its divine place.

Honor them all, and release the need for change.

There is beauty in simplicity. There is reverence in restraint.

Feel into each and every twinge or reaction before throwing it on the table. Appreciate all that has made you the “you” that you are: unique and complete.

Play with your full deck. See if you’ve been holding the winning hand all along—not to defeat anyone else, but to feel more fully, more freely.

It is cathartic.

And it is freeing

Hold the space for as long as it feels good to you, never deflating your own supply. Leave a reserve of love behind, so that they may use it when they are ready to be on their way.

You may continue on your own, helping others—or not—as it feels aligned to you.

Joy is your source, your generator. You are in constant supply.

Your breath is the tide of your body, and your being is the moonbeam—managing and affecting the tide.”

Life is not a race. It is the collecting of energy from each place you stand that propels you forward. When your footfalls become kisses on the earth, and the trees anticipate your arrival, you’re already winning. Not by arriving first, but by being fully here.

It may feel overwhelming at first to receive the love of all.

But allowing yourself to open even the tiniest crack to the possibility is all that it takes.

Your cells remember. They cry out for the union—rather, the reunions—of Source.

Only love can cover and dissolve or disassemble what was bound by fear. Only love of the individual beings—rather than fighting the whole. Two fear-based gatherings will only grow more of the cancer of fear.

Love can and does erode and dissolve the cancer of fear, of hate and mongering.

You may not even need to cast your line or bait your hook—you’d be doing it for the sheer joy of fishing.

The sun, the gentle swaying of your boat, and the satisfaction of your existence and love is not only self-contained, but beaming all around.

Refreshed and renewed, feel into the true you. Choose a new satchel—or none at all. Open your hands—clean hands—and step into the best and rest of your life.
