The Best and Rest of your Life

No matter how far you travel from what you consider home, there is always a path back.

Home resides within you. It is not a place, a bed, or even people. Home is internal and eternal. It provides the comforts you seek—the familiar and the soft.

The warm bed that offers external comfort is there to receive you just as you are, when you are vulnerable to yourself and have released the outside masks or costumes you may don during your waking, performing hours.

It is the place where you are truly at peace, free of any cravings for external validation or attempts to cry out to be seen.

Once in the slumber state, you may fully reset, relax, and allow your physical body to realign with your true self. While your mind is offline and at rest, your body is batching—like the old computer days—resetting, realigning.

You have the ability to begin again with each waking moment. Stepping into that, rather than picking up the old luggage you’ve carried, is a choice.

Refreshed and renewed, feel into the true you. Choose a new satchel—or none at all. Open your hands—clean hands—and step into the best and rest of your life.

It may be as you wish.

Change comes one breath, one step at a time.

Look forward, rather than back at where you were or the should haves. Thank yourself—and your true home—for the reminder that you may be renewed in every moment.
