The Choice of Existence: Embracing Joy and Pain in Life's Journey
Remembering who you are—the soul of your essence, your being—is a homecoming like no other. If you can catch glimpses of your true presence, of your being, not just who you are in your physical body but the entirety of you, you may experience this life as a game; the game that you know it to be. This game is meant for experience, expansion, and creation—an endless cycle.
This does not nullify, void, or make your existence insignificant; on the contrary, it makes it more complete. The expansion of creation is the goal. It is about experiencing a unique blend of elements that have not been put together in exactly the same way before. Nothing is ever routine, even though it may seem that way. Each step that appears repetitive has subtle and important differences that are recognized by the parts that were not involved in previous or successive experiences.
The joy is found in the pain, the joy is in the pleasure; it exists in the whole of existence. Without one, there cannot be the other. Focus on the end of the stick that you would prefer. You may believe that no one would choose a painful experience, but they do so each and every day. There are always choices, remedies, and healings available; yet, the well-worn path that has been “proven” to work is often the one that is chosen.
What if there was a different, more effective route? What if there was one that has no guarantees but offers more joy? It is a choice. Life is full of these choices, and you are choosing in every moment. You can take a stand or lie down, go with the flow or paddle against the current. You can choose to enjoy life or condemn it. Regardless of the circumstances, you have a choice. Which will you make? Whatever it is, the universe is delivering it to you. You are emitting a vibrational order with each thought, breath, and emotion.
