Harnessing the Power of your Emotions

Imminent domain and power are what you have over your circumstances and how you feel. Tricky though, as how you feel is the key—the key to control of your situation, not only in life as to where you are and what you’re experiencing but in every human experience.

Feel lost or left out? If you can encapsulate that emotion and determine where in your body you feel the sensation, hone in on it and feel it. Then you can recreate it to give you more of that, or you can isolate it in order to change your situation. Actually, in that case, you wouldn’t focus on that feeling. You’d find another feeling that feels better and focus on it. How does it feel? Where do you feel it in your body? Can you describe it? Yes to all. When you do that, you activate it and its power, and you will be delivered more of the same or situations that you’ve ordered up just as if you went to a drive-through and placed the order for it.

In a situation you don’t care for? Focus on something else—anything that you desire or want to feel better about or by experiencing would feel better. Not in the distance, or the future, but now, this very moment.

You have the power. Use your breath to get you there, to slow your system to neutral. Have your engine idling, then think of or look at or imagine a situation that brings a smile to your face. Think about it until it feels good. Notice where you feel good in your body. Now capture that as if you’re taking a Polaroid of it to hang on to and reference again and again. You will receive more of the things, people, and places that evoke that sensation.

This is not a test; it’s life—your life, your power. Own it and delve in. Put your action in gear and take off. You’re off to the races.
