Finding Alignment: Embracing Unease as a Guide
Off base, in limbo, off-kilter. You’re aware of the feeling. Like a runner at the base when they step off, trying to steal to the next base but unsure, unsteady, and staying close to the base until the opportunity arises. That feeling of unsteadiness isn’t necessarily bad. It’s letting you know that something’s not exactly right. It's your little warning bell that you’re out of alignment with what we feel about you or your situation. It’s just a sign to go back to base, to plug into the frequency that is your calm, neutral, steady state—that is your true place of power.
The feeling of unease is a signal only, not a state of being. So be thankful for it. It lets you know to make a change, slight sometimes, almost imperceptible. But as soon as the minor adjustment, if that’s what's needed, is made, your sense of calm and being alright is returned.
That is your state of alignment, the neutral we speak of often, where all can flow to you just through your thoughts that turn to feelings, bringing you more of what you’re feeling about. If you remain in the agitated, insecure state for long, it will bring you more of the same. The same within your body: it will cause concerns that may manifest into actual illnesses or disease (the state of unease that remains for prolonged periods). The unease is to show you that which you do not want, that is all. So adjust, change perspective or viewpoint. Reset. Raise your hands to the sky, spin around, be in nature. These are resets. Other resets can be in your space where you are now. Stand solid in your resolve.
Take care of yourself. No one else will do that as it is their job to care for themselves. Be at peace, and more will flow to you. Agitation is what happens before an impending change. Like the cells in division, when they break away, they are in vibration and are being pulled away by the attraction of another, stronger force. Go where it feels better. Either back to the base or to the next base. Where the pull brings smoothness and peace. It is just a game; you may as well enjoy it.
