Fortifying Yourself to Uplift Others
Up, up, and away. Like a hot air balloon that has been filled to capacity, only then is it able to carry others to heights they’ve not been before. That is the way with you. Until you are filled to capacity and have sturdied up your own container, you are not able to hold others effectively without fear of allowing them to slip or lose the air needed to keep your elevated state.
A regular latex helium balloon can fill and stay elevated for periods of time, but after time or too much distance, it will lose its effectiveness and fall to the ground. It is not able to carry the weight of anyone or anything but itself, but still able to reach different heights for perspective. Until the container is fortified and tested, it cannot effectively contain others with care to reach new perspectives. You are that balloon. Strong in wholeness without fear of losing yourself or others. Still, there is a time to ground and regather, to rest before rising or carrying again.
Take time to fortify and build your own practice, mending all the seams, fortifying and celebrating all that you are and will be before presenting to others. In your own beauty and strength, you are the shining light that others will be drawn to. They will wait and queue up for the ability to spend time and to be guided to the heights they’ve not reached before. Enjoy the view and the weight of steadiness that they will indeed provide.
