Forging Your Own Path: Discovering Strength and Joy
At times on your journey, it may feel as though you are on the right path, and you are; however, there is always a better route—one that has not been carved out by others. Following a well-worn path may leave unwanted residue from those who have traveled it before. It’s best to carry with you not only your emotional guidance but also an umbrella of protection in the event that a rain of anything unwanted comes down. Too much of anything that is not of your own creation isn’t YOUR path, whether it be disappointment, jealousy, or the influence of others who believe they are in competition with you, leaving their marks on the physical trail.
While it may seem easiest to take the familiar path, it is still better to go off-road and forge your own. Not only will you discover strengths within yourself that you didn’t know you had, but you will also encounter experiences that propel you further along the emotional spectrum of satisfaction. You may feel a twinge of something undesired when following the well-worn path. With your umbrella at hand, shield yourself from the glare of disappointment, jealousy, and judgment. Remove it when you are ready to fully receive all that is there for you.
Feel into your peace, your knowing, and the serenity that is available to you at all times. Slow down, pause even, and meditate within for the guidance system of your emotions. Stay until you are inspired to move—with joy and eagerness. Your life is meant to be fun, and in that fun, you will become a beacon for others to follow their own path, not yours. Love, light, and joy are your destinations and are available to you now.
