Finding Strength in Stillness: The Journey Through Rest

There will always be periods of rest in a seemingly vast desert where there is no end in sight. Yet those periods, while they may be unwelcome if you've been enjoying the lush greenery and rain, serve a purpose. The times of dryness can be used for cocooning, gathering the strength that you will need for your next venture. Although you may not know what is coming, trust that the period you are in is necessary for rejuvenation and relaxation, helping you build the spiritual muscles that you will need.

Reflect on all that you have felt, sensed, and experienced. This reflection will bring strength on the deepest level, building a foundation of bedrock that is unshakable. Your vibrational core is reconnecting to the All That Is and is being replenished. Trust it; trust yourself. Appreciate the downtimes rather than pining for what was or what will be. Feel into the now, into the moment of existence. You are your best ally and are never alone. Embrace the fullness of your connection to the whole of you.

Return to the simple joys of cooking, playing, and observing. Being on or trying is more draining than you may realize, affecting your physical and mental well-being. Put down your packs and rest. This rest is always available when you are ready; wait for the impulse of "YES" before resuming at an entirely new vibrational level. You’ll be glad you waited.

Does the sun stop shining because there are those who may get burned? No, it shines, and those in need seek shade for solace. Keep shining; burn bright. It is not your job, nor the sun's, to shield those who need shade.
