You Determine the Flow
Circling the drain can be seen as unwanted when attempting to hold onto the experiences—whether it be contents or possessions—or it can be seen as clearing the space and preparing for new and more to flow through.
There is a satisfying sense when preparing a vessel or container for new and fresh, unexpected and unknown; wiping down the sink of life.
Rather than putting a stopper in and collecting all or trying to hold onto things as they were, it is best for you to be comforted and comfortable with the knowing that more will come, and fill the container and flow through when there is a momentum of flow—more than can ever be contained within the sink or vessel.
Enjoy it as it passes through or by, never wanting or grasping at waves that may not be contained. Appreciate and enjoy the moment of now rather than attempting to bottle or store.
A container of ocean water does not carry with it the experience of the wind on your face, the sound of the surf, or the call of the birds—it becomes only salt water. Yes, it may represent, and you may be able to recall a whiff of the feeling you had, but you have the ability to enjoy every moment with each experience.
Look for the feeling that arises and examine and assess to determine if it’s what you’re wanting to feel. Delight in the change that is inevitable, rather than begrudge what is changing.
You determine the flow.
