The Power of Pause
The fuel of emotions may be reset or tempered with the breath. When you feel unease, or heightened and quick repetitive vibrations around a topic—whether you are aware of it or not—you may use your breath. With an open mouth, take in healing oxygen into your physical body, and release it slowly through the mouth to reset or release the cycles of vibration to a level that brings you into alignment.
It may also assist you to hold the breath for a pause—a beat of the drum—to allow it to flow into your extremities, righting and resetting along the way. You will feel immediately more relaxed and subdued, able to return to your natural state of ease.
Adventures—whether during your non-waking states or in your daily awareness—may evoke heightened physiological responses to situations in close realms just out of reach of this experience. This method of breathing brings you back into the now of your physical body. Before your mind reengages with what is at hand, that brief pause or space is all that is needed to feel your worth, your value, your true self.
That pause is your power space, your knowing. Spend as much or as little time there as you wish—it only requires the awareness that this is what is real, and all else is the experience you are choosing. Create from the pause.
Each breath is an invitation to begin anew. Each pause before and after the breath holds a beginning. Every new beginning starts there. Remain until you are stable and in alignment with Source.
Go about your active life with the knowing that you carry this key in your pocket at all times. Pat it for reminder and protection. Breathe a sigh of relief throughout your day. Test your own abilities.
