The Power of Intentional Movement and Breath

Getting to the place of "ahhh," of all-knowing and complete acceptance, where you feel totally at ease with yourself, may be arrived at through your breath. At times, it may come from when you've caught your breath. Think of those moments when you've held it—in anticipation or due to the shock of a sight seen or felt. Those times are embedded within you. Are they experiences you want to revisit, or are they ones you'd rather forget?

Either way, unless released through rapid movement or shaking of your hands or extremities, they may reside within. That is one reason exercise is a form of stress release; it is due solely to the movement or the release of stored energy through your extremities. Move for the sake of movement, but mostly to release stress or stored energy. You are constantly refueling your body and rarely releasing what is stored.

Take a walk, or if you prefer, a run, to release; shake your arms and legs. Shake it up and off. You’ll feel better once it is released. It isn’t necessary for you to understand the source of what was stored; it is only important to release. Move intentionally and breathe intentionally. Do all things with thought and intention to benefit your body. Then, your mind will be more ready to relax and receive the knowing that is available to you at all times. It will bring a smile to your face and, in turn, to your heart.
