The Power of Focus: Transforming Energy Through Intention
In the focus of your experience, the more you concentrate on something—anything—the more it evokes. The more light is drawn to the point of attention. This concept has been discussed broadly, but the nature of light has not always been fully explained. Focus allows the light within you to pinpoint a desire in most cases, and you also become the conduit—the copper wire, if you will—that brings light and heat, causing action at that point.
Consider the analogy of a magnifying glass: when sunlight is concentrated through it, a reaction occurs at the point where the light is focused. If focused enough and with intention, this reaction can combust energy and transform what has been highlighted. The same applies to you; you serve as the conduit—the copper wire—the transformer of what you focus on. The light of the sun represents the light of your higher self, which flows through you, not manufactured within your human body, but channeled through you to create change at your point of focus. Change becomes inevitable if your focus remains steadfast and true. You are made of the essence of the sun or stars and possess the power to effect change when used with intention.
Whether your focus is on the trivial aspects of everyday life or larger matters seemingly important to many, it matters not. Your attention and concentrated energy have the potential to bring about change. Therefore, take care in directing your focus; it will create some sort of difference. Understanding the effect you produce is the true power. Use it with intention. A thought held long enough or often enough becomes a belief, and in turn, that belief is empowered. However, a knowing is innate and comes from your source.
Feel into yourself and allow your knowings to emerge. Focus on what you wish to affect.
