The Power of Contrast: Finding Unity in Experience

When you return to your natural state, you reconnect with your complete being after the illusion of your current reality is expunged. This process brings you all back to the same pond, to the same side, where you understand that you are all in this together. In this state, there are no differences, no contrasts, and no polarity. Although it may seem that you desire such distinctions, you do not, or at least did not, when you chose to embody for the expansion.

The addition that is occurring at a rapid pace, through contrast and polarity, is continually creating more, as always, "where no man has gone before." This becomes evident to you and to all as soon as you leave your physical situation. When you join in this understanding, you experience total peace and serenity. There is no competition, no laughing at the expense of others—just a sense of unity, as you are all the same.

Consider how much fun it would be to watch a football game if each team worked together to score, helping each other across the imaginary line. Or imagine a race where you each held hands so that you could cross the finish line at the same time. You would likely find it boring. Thus, that which you often cast down as bad is, in fact, the very experience you chose to have.

Without contrast, there is no experience; it is merely a matter of which side of the experience you wish to concentrate on or focus upon. There are always two sides to every situation—choose the side that makes you feel better. Contrast is key; it is a blessing, and it is what you came for.
