Shifting Perspectives: The Power of Inner Awareness
Innocence and Awareness
The eyes are the windows to the soul, yes, as has been said, but they are also the windows to the world. What you are seeing when looking outward is the reflection of what your internal being, your self, has been feeling and thinking about. Do you like what you see? It’s like a hologram of a reflection, not necessarily exactly as you see in your mind's eye, but what the culmination of what you've been feeling and thinking about.
Your feelings or emotions are just the somatic association with what your thought patterns are producing. These then bubble over into the ethereal atmosphere surrounding you, still unseen or fully formed but they gather as all energy does, to other like thoughts and patterns. When solidly felt by you strongly or you and others collectively, they will form into physical manifestations that are visible to the “naked” eye, meaning the eyes without relation to your inner being's knowing. This should, and does if you're aware, let you know the culmination of your thoughts and emotional patterns.
If you like what you see, then stay on the same thought and feeling pattern. If you do not, then shift your focus or perspective ever so slightly, like the turn of a sensitive driving wheel, as it can adjust outwardly at a larger angle. Let it settle to see if the direction or the outward manifested symbols and sights are more acceptable and enjoyable to you. Like a slight turn in your mouse or joystick or wheel, you are in control. Always.
Shift and observe. Go with the feelings that bring you pleasure or joy. Your job is to feel happy, pleasant, or at the very least, neutral. Shift gears, perspectives if you're not enjoying a situation. Rather than dig into a problem or continuing to look at it, causing it to grow, shift. The pleasures of the world are many, focus on those. Everything else will fall away or at least settle down. Peace is your neutral.
