Creation of Your Life

Your life is like a drop in a sea of vastness.

Knowing when you came, an outline or skeletal structure from beginning to end—all drawn with dashed lines for you to fill in with the colors you choose, all while having, or being, your own eraser. Not for correction, but completion. Taking different paths. Moving from one section of the watercolor to another. Some areas more concentrated and others just beckoning for you to begin.

You create within those loose boundaries and decide your exit.

The end is always there—not an end, really, but a portal to a fuller, more expansive vastness, where you are the quill dipping back into the ink to begin again, returning to the creative process of life, of painting your existence when and how you want.

Each drip coming off the quill is a lifetime of its own, while you remain whole and complete.

Yes, you are experiencing exactly what you choose to, all within the very loose boundaries you set forth. Do it your way. Enjoy it or not. Begin again, or linger to relish.

There is more fun in the creating, the painting, rather than seeing it hanging on a wall. Enjoy the process.

And when you are in the in-between, it is as though you are standing in a gallery, able to look around and see all the different lifetimes. Some are more filled, more complete than others. Some hold beauty. Some hold chaos. All of it is creation.

You have a gallery to admire when complete, but the fun is in living.

Creation is why you came.
