Navigating Life: Trusting Your Inner Guidance

You have an internal guidance system that, when followed, leads to a charmed life. This is the life you not only mapped out before you came but one that fills in, blooms, and blossoms as you follow each inspired breath along the way. Choosing to breathe with intention guides you through your emotional guidance system to something more.

Things become clear—not to your cognitive self, but to your internal being, your gut, as it has been said. Your intuition is all there for your guidance. Consider getting into your vehicle with no destination in mind, going only where you listen to your inner being through impulses to turn left or right or go straight. Stop only when you feel the urge to. It would be a fun practice of your guidance system, just to do it as a game and see where you end up and what adventures you encounter along the way. Do it for the pure joy, fun, or intrigue of it.

Life is much the same way. With a loose framework set by you, head in the direction of your dreams and desires without rigidly sticking to a direct route. Let your interests and curiosity lead you off the path. Rather than following the strict timeline constructed by others, follow your own guidance, which is programmed for your journey rather than the guidance of well-meaning individuals who believe their guidance is best for you.

You’ll never arrive at your intended destination by following the route of someone else’s guidance system, as it is guiding them to where they want to go using their own set parameters. Trust yours; trust your breath as the fuel for your body vehicle and use premium-grade fuel, which consists of fully intentional breaths. Go the way of your guidance and enjoy the journey. Take breaths when you’re off the path or create new paths altogether. You are the driver. Enjoy the journey.
