Keep Moving
At times the path you’re walking or experiencing may seem like that of an insect, where you feel so weighted on the ground that elevating would feel almost impossible. That is a time when, as the insect does without thinking, you keep your eyes and focus firmly on the steps just beneath you. Having looked into the vista and seeing where you want to be, your natural instincts or intuition guide the numbered steps.
Focusing on each footfall, the basics of finding the next bit of sustenance, seeing things that are joyful along the way—the curiosity of an ant carrying large loads to the family, or the very sand beneath its own body. The key is to keep moving. The terrain will change, the soft moss and grass will appear, and before the ladybug even notices, she’s on top of the very mountain that was once spotted so far back on the path. Without the longing to arrive, but by enjoying each small step along the way.
The internal guidance, the finding of even modicums of peace, the dalliances of attention-diversion on the path—these lead to the very vista that was desired. And guess what? From that view, yet another mountain or horizon will appear. That is the way of life. Keep moving. Find a bit of joy—or a lot of joy—in every step. Appreciate where you are, and the vibration of appreciation will return more and more to be appreciated.
Sending out those signals, even if muted or dampened at first, will amplify and bring alignment to your being and all situations. You’ll find yourself higher, with more clarity of view, of purpose, of ease than ever before. Expansion happens in that way.
The situations you find yourself in are the corrosive that loosens the bonds which have held you in place. Thank the acid, the agent, the solution that allows your ability to move, to wander, to be free. Free to experience. Free to feel.
You are loved.
