Keep Moving

Encountering turbulence that shakes your foundation or causes you to feel the need to buckle up is only a momentary bump in the road—or air, as it may be. There is always blue sky, clear days, and smooth sailing ahead on your path. The key is to keep sailing, flying, or walking, rather than to stop and stay where you are, thinking that this is all the universe will offer.

You attracted—or are experiencing—the turbulence or rough patches only as a way to get you to either continue moving, shift your gaze to what feels better, or look forward to what is on your intended trail. It is up to you whether—and for how long, if time is a factor for you—you intend to stay where you are. If it is comfortable, then remain. If it is not, continue.

A simple analogy for what may seem very difficult to do. Focusing on what others are focusing on, peeking over their physical or emotional shoulders, can and does cause a similar, if not softer, feeling of the same. If that is your intended desire—to feel bad, guilty, ashamed, or lost as the crowd does—then do so. But if you’d rather feel steady, true, and better, then keep moving, bypassing the crowds and the vibrational tornado that has hit.

You get to choose your sideshow, your form of entertainment—and it is all that: for your benefit. Continue on your path, and the skies will open up before you, leaving a swatch of blue and a breeze in your wake. Head high, face in the breeze, feeling the warmth of your sun.

Continue with ease.
