Frictional Relationships
Friction is only static from closely misaligned energy.
When two energies are in near alignment but not yet clicked into place—just shy of the pocket—it is like riding the rumble strips at the edge of a lane: barely off, but close enough that the vibration becomes impossible to ignore.
This is the way of relationships. It is often when you are so close to alignment with another that the slight misplacement feels the most uncomfortable. Like rubbing a cat’s fur in the wrong direction, the friction grates.
Notice: when your energy is out of alignment with another’s, irritability or unease rises. And yet, what is required to ease it may be very simple—just a few intentional breaths together, or a choice to part completely. Sometimes, though, circumstance or obligation keeps you in close proximity.
The click is always available: breathe. Connect intentionally. What was tolerable can become not only manageable, but even enjoyable. Even your own breath—without sharing—can settle the vibration, softening the static, even if the other source remains out of tune.
It is always a choice, consciously made with consciousness itself.
You choose how you experience any situation.
Choose the softest resolve.
Breathe in peace.
Breathe in clarity.
Breathe in resolve.
