Breath as New Beginning

Melting into place like candle wax sealing itself in its holder—that is what the breath does for your body.

Breathe the breath of clarity, and allow the reflection of clarity to shine back from your mirror. The exhale of your breath creates the fog which may then be wiped clean leaving no residue of who you were, no matter how much time has passed. You have the ability and capability to renew and refresh with each breath.

Know your true self, rather than who you may have portrayed.

No two interactions are the same. Even in the same building, with the same people, doing the same activities, each moment is a different scenario—as if you were dropped into a foreign country. Greet each interaction with the curiosity of where you are now. Ground into yourself with deep, clarifying breaths to interact with all.

“Can people change?” has been asked often. Yes—they do, with each breath. Rather than hold them in the space of your perspective, chained to an event or circumstance, allow them the courtesy to present their true selves, to make restitution, and to be released from all holds.

Treat each breath as a new beginning. Recognize that interactions not in your preview have changed everyone. Release expectations and reservations, and meet those before you as new beginnings.
