You are Not Contained

Your capacity is not set or defined as in a container; it is malleable and expansive or may shrink to a situation with clarified focus if needed. You are not your container, your body, your space, or even your field of consciousness. You are not separate from the ocean that you are a part of, even when separated as a drop or held within a container.

You may be scooped up like a ladle to contain for the role you are playing, yet will always return to the whole. Knowing this is freeing should you choose to understand your vastness.

Each role, each life, each body you inhabit is but the drop to be returned. You are part of the entire ecosystem that feeds and generates the whole. When one light seems to dim, to have played out, it returns to source to refill in the next ladle of existence.

There’s no getting it wrong. You will always have access to the all. Enjoy each dip, drop, or vessel you choose to inhabit. There are no shortages of any kind — only the perception of what your focused attention is offering.

Awareness is key to noticing when life feels tight or confining, and to remembering the space that still exists within and around you.
