The Sandbar Position

At times, going with the flow may seem more difficult—as if you are caught on a sandbar, where all else is flowing about, still deeply, with a strong current—yet you’re stuck, seemingly surrounded or supported by barriers keeping you in place, as if held in a pool or observation tank.

Your only job is to choose your perspective.

Are you where you are for your own protection, keeping you from experiencing the full flow of the oceanic current?

Or are you there for a rest period—to observe all that is flowing around and by you?

Or are you feeling as though you are being held there against your will?

Your location and conditions aren’t changing at all, but how you feel about where you are—and what is going on around and outside of you—is changing, and rapidly.

Settle into your current situation and change how you feel.

Not necessarily about what you are observing, but how you may feel about it.

It requires only a slight shift—

In your position within your area to view something else, anything else, to refocus…

Or, rather than observing your surroundings with such fierce attention that it feels as though you are experiencing what you are observing,

you may close your eyes and internalize your focus.

Shift into how you feel—until you find and feel your calm introspection.

Your peace, held within.

Nothing external has changed—until you change your feelings.

First within.

Then, how you feel even when observing chaos or clarity—it matters not.

Only your perspective.

Your viewpoint.

Your feelings.

Change those,

and your viewing station in life will change.

The walls surrounding you will erode,

and you will flow

with the stream of well-being.
