The Power of Softening Edges:Delivering Emotions with Love
Softening the edges, rounding the corners, and smoothing out sharp points—life can often feel like hard edges, sharp corners, or abrupt endings. However, softening these edges by covering them with love makes experiences more digestible. Like a wave coming into shore, the power and force of the ocean are delivered in rounded, soft edges as they approach and retreat back out to sea.
Bringing things to room temperature to soften means taking away or, rather, not adding more heat, which may bring a substance, situation, or relationship to a boil. This will help the situation. Unless it is something you want to bring to a head, it’s best to remove your focus to prevent scorching. Consider butter straight from the fridge; it can be hard-edged and needs to be softened before spreading. Your being is much the same. Your presence may carry a direct message that needs to be delivered, but often it requires coming to room temperature or reaching a vibrational level that allows for the best outcome.
Softening your resolve does not reduce the potency of the venom or the emotional intent behind your words. Instead, it ensures that your message is received and accepted with the emotion intended. Once butter is softened, it can be used to spread, melt, coat, and enhance whatever it is applied to. The same principle applies to the emotions you wish to deliver. Allow them to soften, remove focus, and take them off the flame of passion before delivery. This way, they will be received and accepted with the love that is intended. If they are not, it is not up to you. You can only deliver the softness of your vibrational intent and then focus on what continues to bring you joy.
Angles and edges can always be softened by allowing them to settle. Feel and think of anything that can soften the edges of your mouth, your countenance, and the muscles in your face and body. Your words will be received as smoothly as butter. Apply heat only when called for in the recipes of life.
