THE PORTALS OF EVERYDAY LIFE
What piques your interest? Draws your attention? Feels magnetic?
These are all natural abilities and point to the unseen draw and true magnetism you feel without mental awareness in most cases.
The impulse or urge to do something — the sudden good idea that may be acted on, brought into your mental awareness, or left to drift on by — these are the portals. The windows of opportunity. The vibrational invitations happening constantly throughout your day. They are spaces that allow rapid movement or a change of station or situation, if desired.
Without overtaxing yourself with thought, these impulses are like shortcuts in IKEA stores or secret passageways in game boards and software programs — easily moving you to a new opening, a new vista, a new wonderland. All without requiring a grand, life-altering decision. Opportunities presented in small “maybes” or subtle enticements.
It is like peeking behind the curtain — or rather slipping behind a curtain — and discovering far more than you ever knew was there. The hole of wonder that Alice encountered, which looked like nothing more than a simple opening in the ground.
These are your moments. Not to be feared, judged, or bypassed unless they truly do not draw your interest.
But if they do — take the leap. Go for the fun. Enjoy where it takes you.
It may seem small or trivial, but it is a step off your well-worn path — your treadmill to nowhere. Just a small shift that can open a world of possibilities.
Be open, but do not search.
Searching makes you overlook the moment you’re actually in.
Your now is the gateway to possibilities.
