The Maze of Life as seen from Above

Having a bird’s-eye view of a maze would make the experience of moving through it much easier and more enjoyable in most cases. Being able to see it for the game that it is — and the game that you are — brings relief. Knowing you’ll come out the other side unscathed would give hope before entering.

This is the view you had before entering your current life’s experience. There are many passageways that can lead to the exit — and many exits. In fact, there are many mazes within the maze, not for complication but for variety and change in your experience along the way.

There is no single set path in your maze of life and not one grand prize, but many. The indicator of your “hot or cold” directional guidance is held within, in the form of your own personal satisfaction.

What if the goal in this life is fun? Is experience? Is simply doing what lights your path?

Rather than feeling off-path, times of low emotion are merely indicators to turn toward the next better-feeling step. Your path is created as you step in joy. Choose what brings that subtle sense of satisfaction — whether in the food you digest or the action you take. Not out of obligation, or adherence to a rigid goal, but solely for the joy of your life’s experience.

Live a life worth living — one you may admire as if it were a treasured moment in a frame, one you’ll want to reminisce upon when complete.

Love the life you’re in, exactly where you are now, and the skies will clear in front of you.
