The Gift of Disturbance
Each grain of sand in the sands of time is but a reflection and a mirror. A reflection of the many fractaled layers of the All That You Are—living, even though you may seem firmly focused in the current life experience you are having.
There are always more, and different, experiences to have—just as countless as the grains of sand on any beach you may have traversed. The choices are that varied.
The experiences you choose to go deeper into may seem as though they are happening to you, yet it is you who is choosing.
As with a pebble in your shoe, you may shake it free and continue on your path, or you may stop to examine either the disturbance it has caused or the offending stone itself. You may berate the stone for being there, or your skin for responding to the chafing. Either way, you may continue and encounter other collections without the pause.
The disturbance may cause you to veer off the path you were on—avoiding the rocks and pebbles—or you may suffer through and berate yourself for having chosen the rocky beach.
Instead, thank the stones, the pebbles, and the sand for gifting you with discernment—for showing you that there is an easier walk that just may, and likely will, provide an even better and alternate viewpoint.
How would you know what lies beyond the barriers and cliffs had the stones not sent you on an alternate route?
There is much for you to see. So instead of always looking down with your shoulder to the boulders, arise—literally and figuratively—to a new dawn, a new day, a new path, and a new vista.
Open your eyes to the possibilities and the beauty that surrounds you. Breathe it all in, and flow into a change of scenery and experiences
