The Flow of Readiness

In this journey of life, you’ve never missed the boat — never missed the opportunity or been left out of anything. There are simply openings that appear when you’re ready — those moments that feel wide and effortless, when you slip into the current so smoothly you hardly realize you were waiting for it. Some call them portals.

The rhythm of flow comes from within. It’s as simple as feeling good, positive, and light — like enjoyment itself. Imagine standing by a jump rope, waiting for the right moment to leap in. When you’re in rhythm with the swing, your body moves without your mind calculating the best time to jump. Try to think your way in, and you’ll likely trip.

Flow is the same. Be ready for the next boat — the one that feels right. That’s the one you already have a ticket for. Enjoy the walk to the dock, the preparation, the anticipation — all of it. Doing the prep while bemoaning it won’t make for a suddenly fantastic trip.

Enjoy on the way — in all things, in all circumstances — and the destination will be even more beautiful than you imagined. Have you ever complained all the way to the port before a vacation? How did that trip turn out?

It’s the joy in each step that opens many portals — many little gaps that propel you to the next and the next. Whether it’s a life station, a vacation, or anything you’re pursuing, follow the feeling that leads to the flow of fun.
