Symbols as Waypoints in Life

Symbolisms

As with any character, letter, number, or symbol, they were originally driven by a person or group to identify something common. A change of some sort in some cases or a directional waypoint. Take the number seven, for example. Moving in one direction then an abrupt change. It could be of a thought or a position on a map or in your current direction of life. You may have been or are heading in one direction but make a sudden turn that sends you in another direction that may be more fulfilling or guiding you to where you want to go.

Waypoints in life are represented by symbols. So if you are drawn to a certain number or pattern that is repeating in your existence or that you notice often, it's there to guide you or to let you know that you're headed in the right direction. Thank it. Or you, rather, for recognizing that you have internal guidance that is derived from outside your physical being. You’ve allowed the waypoint to come in to represent something to you. When allowed, your body on a cellular level is the finest tuning fork or sensitive instrument there is for guidance, for information about what you may want to tune or change direction in your life.

The events and circumstances that may be wanted or not will be accented or exemplified by something as simple as a paper cut or as big as an “accident” that is telling you to make a change. Be aware and know there are no coincidences. Everything is there for your guidance. Allow your body to move in the direction it is leading you rather than continue on a path of habitual occurrences because you’ve become accustomed to doing so. Listen (not with your ears) but with your internal guidance.

If you feel thirsty, drink what your body desires, or eat a food that you may not normally eat. That's on a simple level, but it could be the urge or impulse to move your body in a way that may not be consistent with what you're accustomed to. Do it, and it will lead you to the next waypoint to continue your guidance. Pay attention or be open to the impulses without too much analyzing. Follow your gut, your nose, and all other body parts that have been referenced in those euphemisms. It always knows, and you'll be guided to either change direction or continue on your path. Follow your natural and given instincts.
