Simplicity…a Way of Life
Simplicity
Simplicity does not have to mean uncomplicated.
It is the ability to see what is in front of you — even if it’s only a small part of a much larger and seemingly complex puzzle that might feel overwhelming if you were to zoom out.
Focusing on what is at hand, or what’s in your peripheral vision — like the blinders on a horse — keeps you in a state of calm. However, if at times you feel called to lift your head and zoom out to see the broader, more expansive view, or even move from your current area of focus, that too may be beneficial.
If doing so feels fun and exciting — to know that you are part of a broader picture and purpose — then do so, by all means. All the means that feel good.
There will be times you may wish to sit with eyes closed, listening and enjoying your own selection of music in your ears. But at other times, you may want to attend the live performance. It’s the same music, the same performer — yet the energy of those gathered for the same purpose creates a much different experience.
What’s playing in your earbuds may actually be performed better, more technically accurate — but what is co-created on the stage with you and the others in a shared setting is electric. The energy is felt.
This is the way of life.
Stay within until it feels good and compelling to join.
When it does — buy the ticket. Join the crowd.
Co-create with all that is, in a beautiful and expansive way.
Enjoy both — and the energy will linger, putting a whistle on your lips and a memory in your heart for when you return to your own area of focus.
Energy travels, yet stays with you.
It doesn’t divide — it is luminous, expansive, and multiplies.
Enjoy solitude and massive energetic injections.
And just be you.
