Match to Match

The benefit you bring to others is a bonus in your lived experience, but it is not your purpose. Your purpose is fulfilled in the simple act of being yourself — feeling your own container fill, your own shape and essence made whole.

Whether alone or in the middle of a crowd, the steadiness of your own presence is everything. By living from that completeness, you give the greatest service to humanity and to the world.

You cannot repair the world by neglecting yourself. Painting another’s home while yours falls into disrepair is like striking a silent gong — the effort makes no true sound. But when you tend to your own beauty, not hiding or hoarding your light, you invite others to feel their own. That is the match to their match — the spark that ignites their brightness and sets the whole forest of the world aflame.

This, and only this, is the true repair. Be, do, and have with joy whatever you desire. Then your dharma, your mission, is complete. And the beauty of it will sing in the wake of your steps, giving others the courage to stand in their own wholeness.

The world is not broken. It needs no fixing. It simply longs for love and breath. That is all.
