Clear your Cup
You’ve heard that filling your own cup first is the key to peace and personal fulfillment—where you overflow into all else. But what if your cup is full, not of love, peace, and contentment, but with worries, unmet desires, unfulfilled wishes, and regrets from the past?
It’s like putting a dressing on a wound before clearing the debris from the injury or fall. Over your life, you’ve had many scraped knees and injuries that healed with time. But how they healed was dependent upon the care received at the moment of injury.
You wouldn’t bandage a wound filled with debris and gravel without first flushing it with fresh, clean water.
You are much the same.
Over your life, you’ve held on to disappointments and regrets. You’ve worked around them and allowed them to remain, defining your being—not able to flush them out and refill with the love that is you.
The wounds may be flushed and your cup filled completely by clearing the debris with your breath—loosening all held blockages so they may flow freely down the drain.
Allow the love that is fully you to fill your cup—allowing you to become more completely yourself and spill over.
This is the wellspring of truth and excitement.
You’ll feel it more fully, like new skin formed over a wound. It is more tender.
Allow your breath to dissolve blockages and patterns that no longer serve you, so you may truly feel—and overflow with—the truth of you.
