Framing Life: the Power of Choice and Perspective

A frame itself doesn’t define what is being focused on; rather, it draws attention to what is being highlighted. No matter how beautiful or ornate a picture frame is, it only enhances—or doesn’t—the content held within it. It does not define the contents within its borders. Consider life as a beautiful landscape.

Your eyes bring attention to and have the ability to zoom in on any portion of the landscape. It’s your choice as to what area of the vastness to put your frame around and focus upon. Choose what brings you pleasure or pain. You decide how you want to feel. Zoom out and see the beauty of the combined landscape, then zoom in to an infinite small portion if it brings you joy. Joy or feeling good may not be your desired feeling for whatever reason. Still, it’s your choice. Just know that you always have a choice.

The eyes are the window to your soul. View what you want in whatever depth you desire. Frame the world how you want to see it. Write your own story; read the books you like. Love and choice are always available. Choose the highs of waves, the neutral of calm, or the boil of anger. They’re all valid feelings, giving you the choice of what is wanted or not. You choose what to focus on. It is all frequencies and flows. Keep flowing and riding the waves of life.
