Enjoying the Ride of Life: Overcoming Fear and Embracing Possibility

The ride of a roller coaster can be exhilarating for some, while others wait at the end for their friend or partner to come off the ride for a myriad of reasons. One of these reasons, with several offshoots, is fear. Fear is often the reason people choose not to get on the ride in the first place. They wonder, "What if it runs off track? What if we get stuck upside down? What if…?"

There are many "what ifs" in life that may keep you from taking the ride. These "what ifs" can be debilitating, freezing you in place. We suggest that you take the concept of "what if" and focus in the opposite direction of fear. What if it is the most fun you ever had? What if it gives you a new sense of life, of purpose? What if you gain a renewed sense that you are capable of anything?

You've probably guessed by now that we’re not only talking about an amusement park ride. Life itself is a ride, much like a roller coaster. Do you want to wait and watch others experience it more fully and completely than you do?

Don’t be left at the end of the ride with "what ifs." Try them all, then decide if it was something you know you want more of or something you don't care for. It's the experiences, the twists and turns, that clearly define your full desires and help you expand into more than you ever dreamed of, while you are here in this physical body. You knew, and in spirit, you know that you are capable of anything you dream or desire.

So buy the ticket, hold your hands up, keep your eyes wide open, or close them and feel within. Enjoy the ride of life.
