Embracing Your True Identity: The Journey to Self Discovery
Are you assuming your own true identity or that which has been assigned to you by others? Either at birth or through your childhood and youth, you have either assumed your own role or taken on others projection. The you that feels comfortable exactly as you are, without the pretenses or supposed-to-bes that may have been projected onto you, is essential to recognize. Some have known who and what they are, and who they want to be, from a very early time in this journey, while others may have assumed the roles they’ve been cast in so well that they may not easily get out of character once free from the director's hold.
You came knowing who you are, the role you would play, and the circumstances you’d be born into for a reason, with the whole goal of playing the role while staying true to yourself.
Feel into yourself and allow your true self to emerge through meditation, breath, and prayer if that feels true to you, to tap into your true essence. Whatever you desire to be, do, or have is attainable in the realm of your life and experiences. Feel with intention into your desires and, without having a precise chosen outcome, allow the feeling of knowing that it is so to wash over you on a cellular level. It will and may be felt physically and projected into your auric field. You will know.
You are the one who may designate the perfect role for yourself. No one outside of you can assign you to be that which you are. You are the I AM of your experience and are responsible for your feelings and determining your perspective at any given moment. Trust yourself and know that you are guided, held, and loved beyond any measure you’re aware of. Look for the happy in the now, no matter the situation. Seek, and you will find.
