Dive Deep Within for Calm and Clarity

Diving deep with your breath, going below the surface where all is always calm. Your breath provides the exact weight needed to guide you beneath the layers of current, of the churning waters of the storms that brew and blow across the surface of your life.

Dropping just beneath the surface—not to escape, but to view what else is offered; always there. When focused on the storms or the churning of the seas, it may seem that there is no end in sight, but breathing deeply with intention allows you to dip below what is still happening on the surface, to view the multitude of life living serenely beneath the chop of the storms.

Going deep enough offers peace—quieting your busy mind—and reveals colors that are dulled when focused on the clouds and storms above. Dolphins know to dive deep in a storm for relief, for calm, and to be able to hear the sonar and beaming vibrations that are constantly there for them.

You too are in constant receiving mode—but are you listening? You may be feeling and listening with your surface and external vibrations, or you may be deaf to the deep, still guidance within, drowned out by external noise.

Close off, figuratively and literally, your eyes and ears, and use your breath to dive deep below the churn to a place of relief. Once there, feel for any guidance. Come up when you’re relieved, and emerge slowly, as you would from the depths of the ocean floor. When you emerge, you’ll take with you the beauty and guidance held within from your experience.

Return and repeat as desired, as a prescriptive remedy for the feelings of instability. You’ll build a tolerance for the turmoil that soothes your entire being. Trust your breath to guide you to and through the storms you encounter.
