Choosing Ease: The Power of Intuitive Guidance
Course corrections, if made incrementally, may be imperceptible. However, if signals of being off course or warning bells and whistles are ignored or not perceived, the corrections may seem harsh or larger than necessary. You are receiving constant intuitive guidance that informs you of your direction and whether corrections in course are needed. This guidance comes through nudges, hunches, or desires that seemingly appear out of the “clear blue sky,” as the saying goes. These are your signals, and if followed or constantly tuned into, there is no need for an overhaul or major maintenance.
There will be no time offline, in the shop, or life-altering, interrupting measures required. However, if these signs, hunches, and nudges are ignored—as if tossed away like garbage—or if you intentionally close your eyes to the signals, they will accumulate. Eventually, your attention will be drawn in louder and more persistent ways until the path is blocked or even worse. At times, it may feel like you are putting your head down and trying to push through, like a plow moving through seemingly impassable granite or walls. This approach goes against the flow of ease and what feels best.
There is no "A" for effort or reward for the suffering you impose upon yourself. While suffering may teach lessons, it is better to embrace ease if that is what you desire. You will arrive at the same destination without major course corrections. Leave the unwanted experiences behind; others may interpret them as they wish. Everyone has their own paths and streams, and it is important not to judge from someone else's perspective. Put your blinders on and follow your own flow.
