Breathing for Inner Peace

Breathing intentionally doesn’t change who you are, but it allows you to access the truth of who you are—reaching your truest, highest, wisest self without the clutter of the mind or taking on the personalities and labels others may have placed on you. Accessing that is accessing your Source—your wellspring of truth, vitality, and inspirational wisdom that is available to you at all times, though you may only occasionally stumble into it and chalk it up to coincidence or luck when you’re not aware of it.

When you observe someone outside of you who seemingly has it all together—not only wealth, relationships, and other vestiges of symbolic happiness, but an unmistakable peace—you can bet they have a personal method or practice for tapping into their source. Whether through meditation, breath, or what some experience as “the zone” during extreme physical exertion, that connection can be accessed in many ways. The higher the charge, the stronger the connection. Yet the most efficient way is the one that suits you best and is done with focus and intent.

Follow your calling—the internal sound—until you are aligned with it and comfortable there. Holding that space of peace for even a moment or two is of tremendous benefit and charges your auric field, attracting joy and purpose. Practice for fun, for the pure feeling of contentment, and watch the world unfold before you like a flower in bloom
